Accompanied by the dual promotion of national policies and markets, Guangzhou Automobile Group, in conjunction with the development strategy of Guangzhou's automobile industry, proposed the concept of building Guangzhou Automobile Chilink New Energy Automobile Industrial Park. On April 27, GAC Zhilian New Energy Automobile Industrial Park officially laid the foundation. The industrial park covers an area of ​​7,500 mu. In the first phase, the planned production capacity will be 200,000 vehicles/year, and an expansion space of 400,000 vehicles/year will be reserved. It is planned to be completed by the end of 2018. The industrial park will focus on the three major areas of “smart manufacturing + innovative R&D + eco-town”, focusing on the six major formats of automobile manufacturing, automotive R&D, automotive finance, automotive culture, automotive tourism, and automotive commerce, forming “one axis, two corridors, three The district's functional zoning has developed into a model of “Made in China 2025”, a state-level demonstration base for innovation and entrepreneurship, and Zhilian New Energy Automobile Ecological Town, creating intelligent, open, innovative, green, shared, and ecological international innovations in the new energy automotive industry. Eco-city. At present, the four major factories in the smart manufacturing zone, Guangzhou Automobile New Energy Co., Ltd., have been fully started and are progressing smoothly. Among them, the stamping and painting factories are soon to complete the piling.

The park is headed by Guangzhou Automobile New Energy Vehicle Plant, relying on the R&D, sales and after-sales service of complete vehicles and key components, and actively introducing excellent enterprises in the upstream and downstream of the intelligent network-linked new energy automobile industrial chain to achieve complementary resources and synergies. The development will create a manufacturing and sharing platform for intelligent network-linked new energy vehicles, and eventually form an open innovation ecosystem across the entire industry chain. At present, the construction of the park is progressing in an intense and orderly manner. After completion, it will be open to joint ventures and the society of the GAC Group and share R&D production and sales platforms. It is estimated that the total output value of the industrial park will exceed 170 billion yuan, the profits tax will exceed 42 billion yuan, and the employed population will exceed 20,000 people.
