Fiat Power Technologies unveiled the 2017 Beijing Road Transport Vehicle Show

Fiat Power Technologies unveiled the Beijing International Road Transport, Urban Bus and Parts Fair and exhibited the F1 and Cursor series of road engines. The three engines will be displayed at the Beijing Exhibition Hall from May 24th to 26th (Booth No. 1003), including one F1A (European 6 emission) and one F1C (Fiveth National Emissions and can meet future Sixth National Emissions) and A Cursor 9 (national five emissions and meet the future six emissions). Visitors can explore the engines exhibited by Fiat Power Technologies through an interactive touch screen application developed specifically for the exhibition, view all the details and gain a more interesting and engaging experience.

F1 series engine

F1 series engines are the flagship series of Fiat Power Technology, which has been derived from 35 years of experience in light commercial vehicle applications. Including two models with displacement of 2.3 liters (F1A) and 3 liters (F1C), the maximum power exceeds 200 horsepower. In addition, the F1 series also offers the best load response, highest torque, and reliability, durability, and maintainability that are consistent with global standards.

F1A

The F1A engine has also begun production in China. The F1A is easy to install and is the perfect solution for light vehicles. This engine can be installed horizontally or vertically. Thanks to the optimized DPF regeneration strategy, the oil change intervals are extended to ensure that the F1A engine is durable.

In addition, it also has some other excellent features: For example, suspended oil pan scheme improves NVH (noise, vibration, etc.). The F1A is the best in terms of fuel economy, and two different solutions are available for subsequent processing systems to meet customer needs: LPEGR + NSC (nitrogen oxide storage catalyzer) and HPEGR + SCR (selective catalysis reduction).

F1C

The F1 family of five products displayed on the show represented another best solution for high-load and long-distance transportation. Its performance and durability are at the same level and can meet most of the working conditions. There are two options for this product: horizontal or vertical. At the same time, F1C is the first engine to be equipped with a selective catalytic reduction (SCR) technology on a light commercial vehicle since 2010, which helps reduce fuel consumption.

Cursor 9

Fiat Power Technology also demonstrated the Cursor 9-country five-engine, which also technically meets Euro 6C emission standards. Despite only 9 liters of displacement, the superior power density makes the engine comparable to the industry's 11-liter performance. In addition, thanks to the passive regeneration strategy of the DPF, the Cursor 9 has first-rate performance in terms of fuel economy, and the longer oil change intervals and DPF maintenance cycles of the Cursor 9 also reduce vehicle downtime.

The use of an exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) system and a relatively simple unipolar turbocharger system ensures high engine reliability, ease of installation and installation. The Cursor 9 Euro VI is equipped with the HI-eSCR system, which is the renowned patented after-treatment technology of Fiat Power Solutions and can also meet the country's six emissions.

In order to comply with Euro 6 C emissions regulations, NEF and Cursor series engines are equipped with Fiat Power Technologies' innovative HI-eSCR technology, which has a nitrogen oxide catalytic efficiency of more than 95%. HI-eSCR represents a breakthrough in selective catalytic reduction technology. Selective Catalytic Reduction technology was pioneered by Fiat Power Technologies' R&D center in Arbon, Switzerland. Since 2005, it has been produced and carried on more than 650,000 engines. Applications include trucks, agricultural machinery and construction machinery.

Fiat Power Technologies provides end products and original equipment manufacturers with engine products equipped with a HI-eSCR system and numerous technical advantages. Emission regulation requirements are achieved by maximizing the efficiency of combustion to reduce particulate matter generation. HI-eSCR eliminates the need to use high EGR rate exhaust gas recirculation systems to reduce nitrogen oxides. This means no loss of efficiency, while achieving high power and high torque density and lower fuel consumption. Thanks to the passive regeneration strategy, there is no need for additional particulate combustion systems, which improves the reliability of the system and reduces the thermal load and mechanical losses of the system, enabling the DPF system to have the longest maintenance cycle at the same level. HI-eSCR technology eliminates the need for forced and parked regeneration of the DPF system: no downtime, no temperature rise, no increase in fuel consumption, and high attendance, not only in all work environments, but also in overall operating costs. In addition, HI-eSCR has no additional heat dissipation requirements, and the post-processing system is compact and easy to install. HI-eSCR technology can also meet the country's six emissions.
