On December 15, 2011, the newly built 450T gantry crane of Guangdong COSCO Shipyard was officially put into use, greatly improving the shipbuilding hardware capability.
The gantry crane has a height of 70m and a span of 186m. It can cover three ship platforms and has a lifting capacity of 450T. It is the first large-scale lifting machinery in Dongguan. The gantry crane obtained the inspection and approval of the Dongguan Quality and Technical Supervision Bureau on December 14, 2011, and issued the special equipment certificate and certificate of use.
