What are the advantages of highlighting large single-tire models in Europe?

Heavy-duty trucks use mainstream tires with 295 and 315 cross-sectional widths, and cross-sections exceeding 315 can be narrowly interpreted as "big singletons."

The new regulations stipulate the regulations for the use of large single tires on the drive shaft and non-drive shaft. The width of the tire section should not be lower than the commonly used 425 tires at present, and the existing large single tire models will not be affected. If 4x2 tractors use large single tires to reduce their own weight, in order to ensure the maximization of load-bearing quality, it is necessary to use 445mm tires with wider cross-section. The advantages and disadvantages of the 425mm single tire in the driving wheel and the hanging wheel are basically the same, and can be mixed together. Its main selling point is to develop around economics:

1. Fuel saving: The trailer changes from double tires on each side to single tires, with less cross-section, less frictional resistance to the ground, and significantly lower rolling resistance of the vehicle, which helps to reduce fuel consumption. Two 295mm width tires become a 425mm single tire, the cross-sectional width is reduced by about 28%, a three-axis trailer 6 wheels to calculate the equivalent of a twin tire trailer with less than a half tire rolling resistance.
