Floated type shell&tube heat exchanger is mostly used for large temperature fluctuations and temperature differences, compared with Fixed Tube Heat Exchanger, its structure is more complex and more expensive.
One end of the tube is fixed on an immobile Tube Sheet, which is clamped between the shell Flange and the tube flange, and is connected by bolts; the other end of the tube is fixed on a floating head tube sheet, which is clamped between the floating cover and the hook ring connected by studs, forming a floating head that can move freely in the shell.
If the tube bundle and the shell are heated and elongated, they do not affect each other, so there is no temperature difference stress. The floating part is a detachable connection consisting of the floating tube sheet, hook ring and floating cover. It is easier to take the tube bundle out, and the tube can be cleaned both inside and outside and is easy access.

On December 17, Xu Changming, director of the Resource Development Department of the National Information Center, optimistically predicted at the "Second China Imported Automobile High-Level Forum" that at current growth rates, China is expected to surpass Japan this year and become the world's second-largest automobile consumer.
Xu Changming analyzed that China has risen from the world’s seventh-largest automobile consumer country in 2001 to the world’s third-largest automotive consumer country last year. Data show that in 2001 China's auto consumption was only 2.371 million. In 2002 and 2003, it achieved high growth of 36.99% and 39%, respectively, and the consumption increased to 3.2481 million and 4.5149 million, respectively. In 2003, the consumption of cars in China exceeded 100,000 in Germany, ranking one place higher than the fourth place in the world. Although it suffered a sudden "cold stream" in 2004, China's auto consumption continued to grow at an inertial pace. For the first time, it exceeded 5 million vehicles and reached 5,223,300 units. The gap with the second place in Japan narrowed to about 650,000 vehicles. The National Information Center predicts that China’s auto consumption vehicles will maintain a growth rate of approximately 13% this year, with sales of 5.82-5.8 million vehicles.
Japan’s car consumption has been balanced in recent years. From 2001 to 2004, Japan’s automobile consumption was 5,905,500, 5.7921 million, 5.8321 million and 5,853,400 vehicles respectively. The National Information Center predicts that Japan’s car consumption this year will be between 5.6 million and 5.7 million vehicles.
Xu Changming predicts that China’s total automobile consumption this year may coincide with Japan’s number two in the world, or formally become the world’s second-largest automotive consumer country with a figure exceeding 100,000 in Japan. From the perspective of consumption, it is expected that the proportion of China’s automobile consumption in global consumption will also increase from 4.3% in 2001 to 8.7%.
