LANXESS will supply Raffinate II for PCS for a long time. Butadiene is the raw material for Lanxess to produce fluorene-based butadiene rubber, and Raffinate II is one of LANXESS's new butyl rubber plants in Singapore. Tantalum butadiene rubber is superior to many tire rubbers in reducing energy consumption. In addition, it can reduce tire wear and play an important role in improving vehicle safety, environmental protection, and economy. In addition to tires, high-performance butadiene rubber can also be used for the modification of plastics in the production of high-impact polystyrene (HIPS) to improve injection molding processability.
