In order to further strengthen the management of the internal combustion engine industry, the Equipment Industry Division and the China Machinery Industry Federation and the China Internal Combustion Engine Industry Association recently held a symposium on the internal combustion engine industry, from Weichai Power Co., Ltd., Yuchai Machinery Co., Ltd., First Tractor More than ten experts from the Institute of Internal Combustion Engines, Shanghai Internal Combustion Engine Research Institute, Tianjin Internal Combustion Engine Research Institute and Tianjin University National Key Laboratory of Internal Combustion Engines participated in the symposium.
At the meeting, delegates conducted extensive discussions on the status quo of the internal combustion engine industry, development ideas and the “13th Five-Year Plan”. The development status of China's internal combustion engine industry is not strong, the industrial scale advantage is not obvious, and the quality and efficiency are not high. It is unanimously believed that improving the ability of innovation, accelerating the application of advanced and mature technologies for energy conservation and emission reduction, supporting the development of supporting complete machines, organizing and implementing green manufacturing and intelligent manufacturing, and enhancing the overall strength of the industry are the only way for China's internal combustion engine industry to move from a manufacturing country to a manufacturing power.
At the same time, the participants also carried out in-depth analysis on the specific problems existing in product upgrading and structural adjustment, agricultural machinery power development, internal combustion engine standards, small-to-machine development and collaborative innovation of production, education and research, and mainly focused on timely introduction of emission standards and increased fiscal and taxation. In order to optimize the market environment and improve supporting policies, measures and suggestions for strengthening industry management were proposed to promote the healthy and sustainable development of the internal combustion engine industry.
