World's largest wind turbine blade mold company Suzhou plant put into production

The project is located in Dacheng Industrial Park, Taicang City, Jiangsu Province, with a total investment of US$22.8 million. Construction began last year. Hongfeng Wind Power is one of the largest wind turbine blade mold manufacturers in the world. It mainly produces molds, hydraulic turning systems and electric heating systems for wind power blades. It has an annual output of more than 40 sets of wind power blade molds, which occupies an important position in the global industry. The company was acquired by Swiss Gurit company in 2009. Gurit specializes in the manufacture and development of advanced composite materials with certain physicochemical properties.
