Factors affecting flotation time are: 1) ore properties ( such as floatability and desired floating mineral content ) ; 2) flotation of ore size; 3) slurry concentration: 4) pharmaceutical system; 5) form of mineral separation.

The general rule is: when the minerality of the mineral is better, the content of the floating mineral is less, the flotation machine is moderately sized ( not too fine ) , and the slurry concentration is small. The effect of the medicinal agent is fast and strong, and the conditions of the aeration and agitation are stronger, and the flotation time is shorter.
